| The term “Standard” when
referring to TC/American Cranes may prove a little misleading. All of the cranes
manufactured by TC/American are made in the TC/American factory to the customers’
requirements. While every crane is built for a particular application, there are three
types of standard designs that are most popular. They are the Single Girder, Double
Girder and Truss Crane configurations. All of our cranes are made using the same high
quality standard components to meet your custom requirements. In the simplest terms, a
crane is a section of monorail (bridge beam) mounted on two end trucks that operate on
parallel monorail beams (runways) with a hoist carrier operating on the bridge beam. This
simple layout gives you complete hook access anywhere between the two outer rails. We
provide various adaptations of this simple design to accommodate various loads, spans and
clearance issues. |
